Despite the fact that we have yet some fantastic applications, we are thinking about users needs and we would like your opinion regarding 5 elements.
What should be our priority ?
A. We develop first a video application in order to be really cool.
B. We develop first a good index and connect it to Yahoo Boss or Reuters Calais in order to be very smart.
C. We increase the time spent on editorial affairs and the explore area in order to be qualitative.
D. We increase the way HyperWeek notifies users activity with a Facebook app. in order to be spammy and attract more users.
E. We activate our API (ready, but on hold) in order to let other webapp to tap into HyperWeek’s groups in order to be cutting-edge.

A. A video application? Could you be more precise?
B. A search engine? It’s that difficult to find information in HW? Maybe it could be useful for groups?
C. I would like to see more news about Sarkozy and Carla.
D. Spam is more prone to scare user than attract them. Facebook apps are complicated. FriendFeed facebook app is spam but it’s nice.
E. Yes. But you have to provide online documentation.

A. Video App: a mp4/avi uploader, with a flash serverside encoder, plus a good broadband distribution system like akamai.
B. A good index app, with a dedicated DB for articles coming from everywhere, not only users feeds OR a good connexion with Yahoo’s engine. The day you begin to put a lot of content inside groups, you realise that it would be cool to have suggestions and worth reading articles.
C. That’s your affair. Create the group Carlazy or Sarkola. AS you want.
D. I mean spam like noise. Just increasing the noise inside FB newsfeed.

I want a way to be able to publish from other services, like a bookmarklet or something to be used on gReader for example. I can’t change my habits like this. On the other side I want a way to get the content outside of hw, via RSS for example.
A. video is not a must, there is already a lot
B. search is already good, are people more searching or following flow via groups (sbscriptions)?
C. editorial is important, is explains the service and makes it attractive for new users
D. you can do an app to extend fb pages, visibility there is important
E. yes, that’s needed and I’m sure Yoan will jump on the opportunity 😛
